HY-UAVRS Road Surface Condition Detector weighs only 780 grams. When mounted underneath a UAV during flight, the HY-UAVRS performs infrared scanning on road surfaces. Adopting remote-sensing multispectral measurement technology, it can accurately measure the thickness of ice, snow and water accumulated on road surfaces, and transmit detection data to highway management authorities in real time.

Mounted under the aircraft belly, the HY-UAVRS features compact size and extremely low wind resistance. Its outer housing is made of lightweight aluminum alloy while internal components use ABS engineering plastic, delivering both sturdiness and light weight. Temperature, humidity and air pressure sensors are available as optional extras. With a power consumption of merely 0.9 W, the device is highly suitable for small UAV platforms for low-altitude highway inspection missions carried by aerial vehicles.
