Road State Sensor
The road state sensor monitors pavement surface conditions including surface temperature, water‑film thickness, ice and snow covering status for ground‑based meteorological observation. Installed beside observation stations, this road state sensor captures real‑time road surface environment without direct contact with carriageway. It delivers digital data via RS485 interface and works cooperatively with meteo sensors and data recording devices deployed at observation sites. High‑strength shell resists ultraviolet radiation and wide temperature fluctuation for stable year‑round outdoor running. Pre‑calibration ensures stable detecting performance under repeated freeze‑thaw cycles. Besides traffic‑road projects, this road state sensor also supports meteorological research institutes for ground surface environment related study and long‑term data collection tasks in different climate zones.
